Gutsch and Exner Software GmbH have been working for over 200 man-(and woman-)years in software development, making us one of the most experienced software houses in the steel construction industry.

For more than two decades, the continual development of our program suite and close cooperation with our customers have ensured the practical quality of our software in the field. Naturally, we also provide individual customisation of the software, and welcome any questions you might have on how we can help you.

Over 170 users and approximately 2000 installations in Germany and Europe rely on the performance and reliability of SteelOffice every day. Steel construction, container, plant, bridge, and the special requirements of mast construction are all to be found within our client's portfolios. Many engineering offices use a special version of the SteelOffice parts list processing package in their work together with steel constructors.

For many years, Gutsch & Exner Software have worked together with the IT Committee of the German Steel Construction Association (Deutschen Stahlbau Verbandes, DSTV). Mr. Gutsch, as one of the authors of the DSTV interface, has played an important part in ensuring that a normed interface was developed which takes into account the importance of distribution of labour, and the data exchange this requires between planners, producers and constructors.
